Senraya Perumal Temple
This temple was built on 9th century. The other name for this temple is chinnathirupathi. The other names for perumal temple is sridevi, boodevi, samega senraya perumal, this temple is seeing from the east. Krishna Devarayar's marriage took place in this temple. In this temple, Devarayar were looked in wedding suit. There are three alwars like thirumangai alwar, boodhalwar, nammalwar are located in this temple hall.
The special of the temple
- In maga mandapam, herbal painting were drawn in the 9th century.
- The art of perumal's maha vishwarupam tells us that the world is for perumal. The art of Ramayana, Mahabharata, Rama's coronation will be drawn as a herbal painting.
- In front of the temple, karudalvar has separate hall.
- In back side of this temple, temple flag mast is there.
- Marriage will happen if we worship in this temple.
- This temple is under controlled by Archaeological research department.
- Here daily prayers will take place.
- The opening of heaven's gate will be specially held during vaigunda egadesi.
- The 10 days festival will take place during chitra pournami. Brahma utsam will take place.
